Chrissie Hynde was--and still is--lead singer for The Pretenders!
She was, of course, booed a few years back in SacraCowtown a few years back for making a hint of a pro-PETA comment at ARCO arena.
Nevertheless, The Pretenders were the best act in the triple-header of the Stray Cats, Pretenders, and ZZ Top. And vegetarian, Chrissie Hynde, was easily the best-preserved of all those 1970s/80s performers.
Sorry, I don't remember ever hearing of The Pretenders so I haven't a clue who their lead singer was. As long as you stick with subjects which don't involve entertainment I can probably do pretty well in your trivia category, but anything relating to TV or entertainers will be tough sledding for me.
