Anti-Asian Bias In Higher Education?

What if there's something to it?

  1. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if it happened. Already the Ivies have been whining about too many Asians and not enough of other minorities to make their world into a model UN or whatever it is they want. When I look at the Top Ten kids at every grade level from my very diverse school, more than half are from Asian families. That's not to say that some Asian students don't have problems academically, but it appears that the future of their children and their achievements academically are of primary importance to parents from this part of the world. That such success in the face of racism would be punished rather than rewarded is not a surprise. They aren't the "right" minorities. Never mind the kids that come here speaking languages not even closely related to English that go on to succeed. Never mind the students who work and still make straight A's=it's all about what your ethnicity is. Isn't that the very definition of racism?

  2. The color of their skin. Maybe it's too close to white?

  3. I submit that it isn't skin color but achievement. As one group learns to play by the rules and begins to succeed they become in the twisted academic socialists mind a threat to their world view that success has been denied to others by evil whites. This is their definition of racism. When success comes to a group it gives the lie to the socialist/commie academics that success can not be achieved because of white racism. Success bad, oppression by whites unable to succeed, good.
