Excuse me...."Mr. Holland's Opus?" How could they leave that one out? I will buy Sidney Poitier for his role, but Mr. Holland was a masterpiece, too. Then there's "Mona Lisa Smile"--which although a bit fluffy on the outside, did discuss the changing role of women in society.
I completely agree with To Sir with Love, Stand and Deliver, and Lean on me....but I gotta say I was always thought Dead Poets Society was over the top. What about one of the teachers from Rydell High?
