Women In College

A half a century ago, three men earned college degrees for every two that women did. Today, that ratio is reversed.

And "in the early 1990s, six women graduated from college for every five men who did so." Going from 6:5 to 2:3 to 3:2 suggests that there is a *lot* of variation in the system.

Plus, a cynic would point out that a number of "college degrees" are more like extended high-school.

  2. Girls' high school graduation rates in my neck of the woods far surpass those of the boys.
