What Will The Church of Global Warming Followers Say Now?

Scroll down to the comments at the end of this post to see how they challenge this statement:

NASA has now silently released corrected figures, and the changes are truly astounding. The warmest year on record is now 1934. 1998 (long trumpeted by the media as record-breaking) moves to second place. 1921 takes third. In fact, 5 of the 10 warmest years on record now all occur before World War II.

I can't vouch for the accuracy, veracity, or track record of Dailytech.com, from which the quote above was taken. But they have a link to the NASA information. If someone can show me that this information is demonstrably false, I'll obviously post an update with a retraction.

Update, 8/11/07: You knew Kerplunk would have something to say about this.

  2. Anonymous, if you can't stay on topic and and quit ascribing to me statements I didn't even make, I'm not going to post your comments anymore. It gets old.

  3. For what its worth with all this "man caused" climate change nonsense:

The the 5yr mean from 1999 to recent shows a "cooling" trend.

  4. NASA amended their data. What else could they do that would be a more concrete admission of error?

Not that it's going to matter any to the global warming yodelers. Science is just another means to an end. When it won't serve and can't be made to serve, chuck it overboard and substitute a purely emotional appeal.

That's what the scientific "consensus" they keep ranting on about amounts too. Since the hard science isn't in yet, hell, the computer models aren't worth shyte, drag a bandwagon through town for everyone to jump aboard.
