Middle Class Values

NewsAlert has a snippet about Republicans' doing well in states where it's affordable to live and support a family. The snippet points out several times what those of us in California already know.

This has more to do with abortion, than "family values."

  2. I guess it does if abortion is the lens through which you see the world.

    Everything doesn't revolve around abortion.

Or, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Actually, Steve Sailer at isteve.com has written a number of fascinating articles on this topic. Democrats do best among unmarried, young people in states with very high income inequality and expensive real estate.

I think it can be logically concluded that Democrats support policies that they believe will expand their voter base. So, high divorce rates benefit Dems and harm Repubs. Income inequality - can anyone say massive illegal immigration by Mexican peasants? - benefits Dems. And very high real estate costs limits family formation - environmentalism, building permit hassles, etc, all accrue to the future of the Dem party.

What a party purports to support (income equality for example)and what they actually support does not need to be closely related.

And the 9/10 Afro-Americans voted against Bush... TWICE.

That must mean that Republicans are racist, right?

Who does the KKK vote for?

What party did David Duke come from?

What Party appologized for the "southern strategy?"

Darren probably won't allow this to be posted, but it needs to be said.

  5. What does this comment have to do with this post?

At first I toyed with responding to each of your points--but after typing that up, I decided not to. Take your race-baiting elsewhere, please.

    The link states the following:

"In 2004, George W. Bush carried only 44 percent of single white females but 61 percent of married white women. Thus, he won the 25 states where white women are most likely to be married between ages 18 and 44. (California, in contrast, ranks 49th.) And he was victorious in 25 of top 26 states in the number of babies born over the average white woman’s lifetime. (California is now 45th, way down from 15th in 1990.)"

    Notice something?

    White Women...

Your souce is making race an issue!

You can run, but you cann't hide.

  7. Of course, no one has *ever* looked at categories of voters before. Sheesh.

Neither of your comments has nothing to do with the point of this post. Post your racist crap somewhere else--there's no place for it here. If you continue to do so, I will not publish your comments.
