What Kind of American English Do You Speak?

Answer these 20 questions and have your speech habits analyzed.

For reference, here are my results:
General American English: 65%
Dixie: 15%
Upper Midwestern: 15%
Yankee: 5%
Midwestern: 0%

Obviously such an analysis is extremely limited, if only because of the few questions. Still, it's fun to find out.

  3. 40% Yankee, huh Spencer? Aren't most of those Yankee states liberal?

  5. So no one has this Midwestern style. I wonder what that is, anyway.

My dad's family is from Illinois and the things i notice most are the pronunciations of "a" as in Chicago, pop replaces soda, and they pronounce Oregon differently
