There aren't very many jobs where you "get to be artistically creative and make a lot of money".Darrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730642770935985796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-26762772350725181292010-05-10T18:37:37.288-07:002010-05-10T18:37:37.288-07:00Once upon a time I wanted to be a great writer and...Once upon a time I wanted to be a great writer and artist. My mother told me to get a teaching certificate to fall back on. During various times of my life for around 20 years, I have taught human children art. Yet another is headed for sculpture stardom. I may never be wealthy, but I like to think I made the world a little better by passing along the idea that art is the part that makes us human. At this point, refer to the films "How Art Made the World."Ellen Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02845981491726296767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-91965070579553640822010-05-10T17:27:36.497-07:002010-05-10T17:27:36.497-07:00Yep, I could make more money doing something else....Yep, I could make more money doing something else. So could you. But you don't. Me either. I like being a teacher. That means we have to live somewhat modestly.

I just wrote a guestbook comment for the obit for a good friend. A teacher. A good man who made a difference.

Life is short, do what gives your life meaning.

RichardAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
