I had to do a paper on Glenn Miller for a music class a few years ago. This was Chattanooga-Choo-Choo! Great song!

In the Mood?

I didn't know the answer to this one, so I thought of all the popular Glen Miller songs I could think off. Then I looked them up and none were the one you are looking for.

FWIW, the ones I first thought of were "In The Mood," "Tuxedo Junction," "Elmer's Tune," "Serenade In Blue," and "Moonlight Serenade." Why couldn't you have asked something I knew, like what was Tommy Dorsey's theme song.

Well, I'm going to have to figure this one out by when what songs were released, and 42 would be about the right timing for Chattanooga Choo-Choo.
