It was called RIPPED, and its acronym--the i is for Intensity, the e for Endurance, and I don't remember the others. There were 2 of us guys in it, and we both left before it was done. I don't know about the other guy, but it was more of a "dance" class. I could do individual exercises/movements in it, but then when we'd have to put 8 of them together--rapidly--I couldn't keep up with the choreography. Despite its name it was definitely a class designed for 20-something women, not 40-something men. I asked at the front desk which classes would be more appropriate for me, and was told that "men don't take classes" so they don't really offer something a little slower.

This Boot Camp thing sounds like something I could do--IF I were allowed to.Darrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730642770935985796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-78203101568256492682011-01-14T08:44:08.215-08:002011-01-14T08:44:08.215-08:00While I get your point, and this will in no way sw...While I get your point, and this will in no way sway you to consider the other side, women often feel uncomfortable working out in a "traditional" gym, or feel more comfortable working out with other women.

However, as far as I know, there are no men-only gyms, but I also have never met a man who said he felt uncomfortable working out with women.

Yes, it might seem discriminatory, but is the fight really worth it when keeping a gym women-only will only make those women who choose to work out there more comfortable? Are there no other options for a man?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-29346059346457833402011-01-14T00:02:47.407-08:002011-01-14T00:02:47.407-08:00ya i hate ladies night......they still have that h...ya i hate ladies night......they still have that here in arizona where ladies get into bars free on certain nights, men pay double the usual cover charge. one local bar even hands out $100 to 5 random WOMEN every saturdayscott mccallnoreply@blogger.com
