Midland is truly the middle of nowhere. Nobody gets their accidentally. And truthfully, he looked like a man who had had a rock removed from his shoulders. He said he was glad to be back in Texas. He had never liked DC even when his father was president. Frankly, there's a type of person who enjoys DC that just isn't really like the rest of us.
