I would absolutely discourage the military from taking my younger children. Ever. If they're 8 and 9 and cry over Civil War footage, I can't imagine they would do well in combat. <br /><br />But the older ps-schooled children have figured out what the teacher wants on a paper, and just spew that. It isn't necessarily that they believe it. It a...I read this yesterday, but forgot to comment. It appears to me that each generation in seeking to separate itself from its parents, goes the opposite direction. If the kids in my classes are any indication, they are far more conservative than their parents.
