The union then announces the "preference" of the membership, not the amount of votes actually cast.

The "majority" is whatever the leaders say it is.EdWonkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07487951830278757474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-1130540402529245102005-10-28T16:00:00.000-07:002005-10-28T16:00:00.000-07:00I understand those concerns. It becomes incumbent on the union, then, to work for the betterment of the teachers, not to just take their money and do what it wants--majority rules or not.Darrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730642770935985796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-1130538754610428532005-10-28T15:32:00.000-07:002005-10-28T15:32:00.000-07:00That is an informative website. I want to have a say, as ignored as it may be by the sheeple of our local. I want to vote for my state union officers, not just the local teachers associations ones. Hell, I may go nuts and actually run someday. I can't do these things if I am not a member. Damned If I do, Damned If I don't.Dan Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13397636504405471939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10348701.post-1130474645393756662005-10-27T21:44:00.000-07:002005-10-27T21:44:00.000-07:00Good to know your still stirring up stuff! :)Good to know your still stirring up stuff! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
