Quote of the Day

“Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.”
--Daniel Webster

I would really like to hear your opinion about Edward Snowden and that whole fiasco. If you posted it already, I must've missed it.

I'm torn. He broke the law, of course, but if you have to break the law to alert the citizenry that the government is breaking the law, what else can you do?

I didn't support Bradley Manning or Julian Assange, but Snowden? I lean ever so slightly to supporting him.
