From CBS Money Watch/Yahoo! Finance:

1. Child and Family Studies
2. Elementary Education
3. Social Work
4. Athletic Training
5. Culinary Arts
6. Horticulture
7. Paralegal Studies/Law
8. Theology
9. Recreation & Leisure
10. Special Education
11. Dietetics
12. Religious Studies
13. Art
14. Education
15. Interdisciplinary Studies
16. Interior Design
17. Nutrition
18. Graphic Design
19. Music
20. Art History
I absolutely love love love the closing sentence:

If you'd rather end up with one of the best-paying college degrees, you'll have to major in something that requires a lot of math classes.

There is something wrong with a society in which people who learn about an imaginary friend are paid less than social workers or elementary teachers.

Darren: Huh?

Anonymous poster (not me ... I *sign* my anonymous posts!) was referring to Theology (item 8) paying better than items (2) and (3).

Anonymous poster (troll?) complained that such people are paid *less* than teachers.

I know what the person/troll was trying to say. I was just pointing out that said person/troll screwed up.

Darren,
You might want to read "A Whole New Mind" by Daniel Pink. I have my AP Art kids read it. The bad thing about skills such as math is that they are easy to transport across cultures. That means offshoring. Art on the other hand is part of the culture and even though you won't get rich at it, it does provide for a better life. Corporations are beginning to hire designers specifically to help technology fuse more readily into society. Just an interesting opinion.
