They coexisted with early humans. Hmmm. I'm probably way off on this ... 7,000 years ago?
I'm probably going to show my ignorance here, but for some reason the number 5000 sticks in my mind. I have no idea if that is right or wrong, but when I read the question that popped up. Now I'll have to go look and see how far off I am.
