Obama Ushers In An Era Of Free Speech In Ohio District

That anyone thinks this is appropriate amazes me.

Mason school officials said they are taking a proactive educational approach in advance of next week's planned Inauguration Day activities.

"Inappropriate comments that may make other students, staff or families feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in school or on the bus will not be tolerated," Superintendent Kevin Bright said in an e-mail sent to parents Monday, Jan. 12.

I'm sure there will be many comments made tomorrow that would make me feel unwelcome or uncomfortable at school, but I doubt those are the comments the superintendent is addressing here.

Mr. Bright's comments make me "feel unwelcome or uncomfortable." Thank goodness I don't go to his school.

Wow, you want to blame Obama for a super's policy statement. And you holler about "lefties" who blame Bush for things that he actually is responsible for. Amazing.

You're being intentionally obtuse, which means I'm getting close to not posting your comments.

Do you not see that the superintendent is imposing this because of the inauguration? Nowhere did I say Obama is to blame, but he *is* being invoked by the superintendent.

1. Your post title implied an active role for Obama.
2. Obama had NO active role in the issue.
3. Your post title was therefore intentionally misleading.

Pretty simple, actually.

No, what's simple is that you inferred something offensive just so you have something to whine about.

Yeah Darren, it's an end to global warming that Obama's promised. You know, the seas will stop rising and all that.

Tin-pot dictatorial superintendents in school districts all over the country may feel slightly safer practicing racially-divisive politics with Obama in the Whitehouse but that's hardly Obama's responsibility. They've been pretending to give a damn about racial issues for years. Kind of like lefties in general.

And there it is. The nutroots are still out there. They will continue to fight against Bush even when he's no longer in Washington. What will they do? How do you continue to denigrate someone when you have no idea what they have done to save lives because it's all still too highly classified to reveal? I am sick to death of these people who seem so single-minded in their desire to see President Bush do what, fall on his sword? What kind of sick mentality is that. And that in a nutshell is why I could never really support Obama. Among his followers are some of the most venomous and vicious folks I have ever come across. I never made jokes at BHO's expense, but it seems to be open season on GWB. Why is that reasonable or fair?
