Cash and Sex For Grades

They didn't pay their professors, they paid people in the records office. Interesting.

PLEASANT HILL (KRON) - Officials now believe the cash-for-grades scheme at a Contra Costa Community College might have also involved sex. They also think this began three years earlier than administrators had originally disclosed. This now raises suspicions about transcripts at Diablo Valley College as far back as 2000.

Dozens of students, many of whom transferred to four-year colleges and universities, are suspected of improving their grades by paying as much as $600 to records-office employees for each changed grade.
