Using Children, and Not In A Good Way

I'm sure my leftie readers will say that the children in this ad are merely enlightened, educated, and ahead of the power curve. Of course, if I put my kid in a commercial and had him say how much he admires President Bush, how he wants terrorists killed, and how our Mid-East wars have been just and necessary, the lefties would say I was brainwashing him.

This ad isn't funny, and it isn't serious. It's perverse.

Disgusting, but not surprising. I mean, what's the difference between this and encouraging kids too young to know what's going on to go wave Mexican flags in a demonstration?

While Lefties may argue they are well informed, Im sure that if you talked to them they wouldnt know jack about politis, which is not a bad thing for 9 year olds. But for their parents it is a shame that they would use a below the belt shot like that in what in campaigning.
Was that shown on TV?

That I don't know, Carson. I don't watch much tv anymore, so I certainly haven't seen it.

I really don't think there's anything wrong with it. Those kids are probably just a bunch of spoiled actors, and really don't care what they're saying. Using children in commercials has been going on for a long time, and merely a lame way to get people's attention. What a bunch of highly paid toddlers were told to say on TV does not in any way reflect people's opinions. It's just to get your attention, and make you feel sympathy for them.

Chris, this is why I said they were *using* children--and not in a good way.
