Goldberg Rumor Continues in LA

People still think Jackie Goldberg is the frontrunner to replace Roy Romer as superintendent of the dysfunctional LA Unified School District. Columnist Jill Stewart, who often writes about education, has this to say about Ms. Goldberg:

For those not steeped in Goldberg-ology, she is the failed former school board president of the Los Angeles Unified School District, whose inability to get over her leftist glory days of the 1960s - and whose knack for grabbing power - has wreaked lots of damage in Los Angeles.

Stewart spends the rest of the column detailing the damage that Goldberg has wrought wherever she's been in office. It's a long list and it's worth the read.
